Kim Schilling, a licensed nursing home administrator, has accepted the position of VP of Health Services Operations/Administrator, at Friendship Haven. In her role, Schilling will be responsible for the oversight, leadership and management of all licensed areas on campus including the Simpson Health Center, The Gardens Assisted Living, River Ridge Assisted Living, Schmoker Adult Day, and Trilogy Therapy. This includes participating in the overall design, marketing, promotion, delivery and quality of healthcare programs and services offered by Friendship Haven.
Schilling graduated from Wartburg College with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in business administration. She subsequently earned her Master’s in business administration at St. Ambrose University. Prior to joining Friendship Haven, she held many leadership positions during her 18-year tenure at Western Home Communities in Cedar Falls, Iowa, most recently serving as the Administrator for Creekside Cottages in Grundy Center. Schilling, along with her husband Brett and their son will be relocating to the Fort Dodge area.
