Johnson joins Board of Directors
Michele Johnson was recently elected to the Friendship Haven Board of Directors. Johnson graduated from Creighton University with a bachelor’s degree in social work. During her career she has worked for various organizations including Lutheran Social Services, Iowa Department of Human Services, MIDAS Council of Governments, and Plautz Design and Development. Johnson was also part of a team that developed, introduced and educated staff at UP-TRMC on the palliative care program. She ended her career as Cancer Care Coordinator at UP-TRMC. Johnson and her husband, Scott, have two adult sons, Sam and Ben.
Friendship Haven is a not-for-profit, life plan community, offering innovative and responsive services to aging adults. Living options on its campus include independent living town homes and apartments, assisted living, skilled nursing care, adult day services, rehabilitation therapy and memory support programs.
