Friendship Haven Welcomes Back Dencklau & Schaeffer

Lacy Dencklau, LPN, has recently returned to Friendship Haven as the Clinical Coordinator of the Arbor Lane neighborhood. Lacy has spent much of her career in Friendship Haven’s long-term care neighborhoods. Lacy previously held the position in the Stone Heights neighborhood before transitioning to a different role in the community. She will be responsible for the evaluation, coordination, supervision, and delegation of personal and health-related services and care provided by the Arbor Lane team members. She will work with other Clinical Coordinators for staff recruitment, training, and education, and ensuring staff competency.

Friendship Haven is pleased to announce the return of Molly Schaeffer as the new Senior Living Advisor to the Friendship Haven campus. Molly previously held the positions of Campus Social Worker and Director of Adult Day Services before transitioning to a different career in the community. The new Senior Living Advisor role will replace Rollie Peterson after his retirement in January of 2023. Molly will be responsible for resident relations and helping seniors transition from their current home to their new homes at Friendship Haven. Molly is originally from Garner, Iowa but went to school at South Dakota State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Human Services and Family Studies with a minor in Gerontology. She has lived in Fort Dodge since 2008 with her husband Chad. She loves spending time with her three children and friends. She also loves spending lots of time outside camping, kayaking, biking, and golfing. As well as some creative hobbies such as playing piano, knitting, and crocheting.
