The Friendship Haven Memorial Foundation raises funds to help support and further the mission of Friendship Haven.  With a rich history of philanthropy Friendship Haven is proud to have a long history of responding to the needs of the local and surrounding community.  Friendship Haven continues to meet today’s needs and has a proactive plan to ensure that tomorrow’s needs will be met. 

Private funds that are raised enable Friendship Haven to not only fulfill its charitable mission, but guarantees that Friendship Haven will forever remain a place where the region’s retiring population can really “live”.  Our residents say it best:

The park-like setting, wellness program, socialization opportunities, activities and beautiful amenities make Friendship Haven a great place to live with faith, friends, passion and purpose.  But what really makes Friendship Haven stand apart is the people.

And the most important impact of philanthropy at Friendship Haven is in the fulfillment of its charitable mission.  In 2007 the cost of this assistance to residents was $802,913.  With gifts to the Good Samaritan Fund and the Care Trust Endowment Fund, Friendship Haven is able to underwrite a portion of the cost of their charitable and benevolent care.  What does this mean?  It means that friends and neighbors at Friendship Haven will never have to leave because they cannot afford the full cost of their care.
