Catalyst Rehabilitation has professionals right here on campus for your Medicare Part-A and Part-B therapy needs.  When you need therapy, guidance and encouragement to restore ambulation, range of motion and other capabilities that assist in making every day its best. Friendship Haven's Restorative Therapy Department fashions a program with you and your care professional designed to help achieve and maintain the highest level of independence.

Everything is geared to your capabilities and comfort level, with the goal of having you exercise where you're most effective, even after your return home.

Our restorative gym maximizes physical abilities with individualized therapy programs. Unique to Tompkins Health Center is a dedicated restorative nursing staff with special training and certification by the Arthritis Foundation. They work directly with you to increase strength and balance which helps decrease the number of falls and promotes independence.

Aquatic water therapy and classes have also been shown to provide positive results for pain relief and increased movement. The therapy pool is often recommended prior to surgery to increase muscle strength.

Non-residents may use these therapies with a referral by their health care provider. Our instructors are certified by the Arthritis Foundation.
